This lecture will cover the following topics:
· Brain-machine interfaces (BMIs) for movement control and communication
· Theory of BMI decoders
· Recording methods and electrodes for BMIs.
· Read-out of non-motor functions from brain activity
· Brain prostheses
· Transcranial, intracortical and deep brain stimulation
· Sensory neuroprostheses
Credits and requirements:

- regular attendance (100%), active participation in discussions and self-guided study;
